This is the first ever footage of my DIY 35mm DOF Adapter that I built based on Daniel Schweinert's design (I modified a bit).
Even with a cheap camcorder like mine, the adapter can turn our footage look more like fil>

Here is a short demo on aligning the M2 35 mm lens adapter to the Panasonic AG-HVX-200P.
There is vertical and horizontal alignment and each are critical for a proper fit.

We tested the HVX with the adapter for 35mm SLR lenses, I believe we used a 50mm here. We shot it 1080/24p on DVCPR>
